Good news for commercial fishermen in BC.

The Prime Minister has announced there will be a full judicial review into the collapse of salmon stocks on the west coast.

Stephen Harper made the announcement in Ottawa today.

More details on the inquiry are to be released tomorrow.

The federal Fisheries Department estimated more than 10 million sockeye would return to the Fraser River this year.
So far, only a tenth that number has shown up.
